| Well that does it. I've become so
jaded this month (Feb 2002) about SPAM, especially since being contacted
by a Josh Brown who originally complained I had blocked his e-mail. We've
exchanged a few messages and I thought I'd bring them to your attention. I think
this just proves the reality of SPAM and the problems associated with it.
I'm remodeling this section of the web site to make it easier to review SPAM messages I
receive daily. The only thing modified in the messages is the -email address they
are sent to! I really don't want more SPAM!
Every SPAM message I get is now automatically parsed and loaded into a database.
If you run your own mail server, you can download my block list. I no longer
discriminate. If I get SPAM, it's added within a few hours. It's costing me
way too much time to read, think about, research and process. SImpler to just grab
the headers, add them to the block list and wait for someone to complain.
Don't forget to REGISTER your mail server with me. See the REGISTER page for
details on why you should and how you will gain benefits.
Sometimes the world needs to be made smaller for a short period of time before we make
it bigger and better. |
BEEN BLOCKED?
If you have been sent to this page because
your IP address, domain name or email address is blocked, then you need to use the FEEDBACK FORM.
You should provide as much detail as
possible and include the bounce message that you received. This will assist us in
tracking down why you are blocked if you aren't suppose to be.
BE WARNED. If your a spammer and you
request an investigation, you'll get a little * next to each of your names. The more
*'s the less chance you have of ever getting off the list. |
